Nature

Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a youth. What became of it?

As a child, i loved sitting on an anthill looking at the stream that ran through our family lands. I got such a good feeling looking at the water as it flowed downstream. Having come from a broken background, with many things i not did understand, the anthill and the stream were my confidants they listened to my lamenting.  When I left to go home, it felt as though I’d had the most assuring conversation.

Today, nature still talks to me. The heartwarming sun, the sweet aroma from the  flowers in the air, and spending time in  green spaces offer physiological and psychological benefits. I always get my micro doses of nature by looking at the plants, having a window view of birds, and hearing them sing. I feel complete in nature.
